  2. Booby Trap ver 4.3 - Upgrade Instructions

  4. If you are _NOT_ running in an InterBBS League:
  5.  
  6. For a regular Non-IBBS upgrade, copy the *.exe, *.slb and *.hps
  7. files from this packet into your Booby Trap directory.
  8.  
  9. If you are running a InterBBS League with ver 4.2, use above instructions. 
  10. If your version is before 4.2, follow the instructions below.

  12. If you _ARE_ running in an InterBBS League:
  13.  
  14. IMPORTANT!
  15.  
  16. This version has added a time stamp to several InterBBS file and a 
  17. delete of the MASTER.BT and BT-*.DAT files are required.  Everyone in
  18. the League has to upgrade or be running ver 4.2 or later or their 
  19. scores will not be processed by the Hub.
  20.  
  21. DO NOT (unless you mean too) delete your BOOBYTRP.DAT file. This is your
  22. local scores and they are not affected. Your InterBBS scores will not
  23. be lost, but not permanently.  When the player plays again, his/her scores
  24. will be picked up from the Local score file and transferred to the IBBS
  25. score file again.

  28. The following applys to all sysops:

  30. If you want to turn off the Sysop Feedback feature, create a file
  31. called NOFEEDBK in the Booby Trap directory.  When this file is 
  32. present and a caller selects Sysop Feedback, the caller will be shown
  33. a screen instructing them to leave a message on the BBS.

  35. If you are interested in setting up for InterBBS play, read the 
  36. INTERBBS.TXT file for instructions for Upgrading and Setup.
